  Welcome to Forensic-email Project.

This project is designed as an academic portal for scholarity work under supervision of the University of Liverpool, Information Technology, (Information Security).


   Forensic-email Project provides an academic approach as well as some technical aspects into crimes committed using emails and methods of preventing such crimes. Furthermore, the project units technical and academic knowledge with legal fact and legislations from several regions of the world in order for other legislators seeking expert advice to benefit from. The fundamental objective is to create a new insight in the theory and practice of email related crimes in the cyber world, in addition to research that creates insights in the technical possibilities and impossibilities for committing email related crimes in the cyber world. Resulted work can be used by law-enforcement as main guidelines to correct seizure of evidence as well as tracking of criminals and analysis of criminal behavior in light of provided technology accessible to publicly and privately


   The research can be used to improve and current legislations and possibly pass new legislations for parts of the world that lack cyber laws. It is the objective of this project to provide sufficient information by means of scholars work as well as discussions of experts and legislators to provide prevention methods for ill prosecution, as well as to assist victims of email related crimes and most importantly prevention of being falling victims of such crimes.


   Work provided include economical analysis that will also help commercial and financial managers to take decision to prevent financial loss and sometimes legal action. Company managers, mainly marketing officers can use the provided information to avoid legal persecution and even extradition to foreign country(/ies) for what might be legal in their home country.
